*insert bagpipes music here* Highland Fling weekend kicked off this past Saturday with some nice, albeit hot, weather. This factored into the incredible attendance on Saturday. Towards the afternoon it seemed everywhere you looked it was a massive sea of people.

I just wandered most of the day taking pictures and visiting. I did have the opportunity to shoot a couple of the German ladies in the water gardens, so you should see a series of shots from that shoot. I also stayed till fireworks so that are a few shots at the end of low lighting shots with flash that turned out decent.

Tip learned from that day: Don't take the two hour drive home late at night after getting up at 6am that day. It is very possible to fall asleep at the wheel, which I nearly did a dozen times. WILL NOT be doing that again.
